Speakers

Memphis ISSA is always looking for Security professionals interested in presenting at our monthly meetings. Memphis ISSA members are a diverse group of information security professionals, ranging from information security analysts and engineers to consultants and CIO’s. Speakers have ranged from C level executives of high-tech security companies to attorney’s speaking about regulation issues. Our membership encompasses just about every major area of Business in the Memphis metro area.

Our chapter holds monthly meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month.

These meetings are wonderful opportunities that allow our members and guests to discuss technical issues and network with fellow security professionals. Our Chapter welcomes the participation of speakers from various industries and backgrounds who will deliver timely and engaging talks on information security. We request that all ISSA Presentations be vendor-neutral.

PROCESS:

Provide a presentation title, abstract, and speaker bio to the Program Director via the form below.
We will contact you after receipt of the materials
After you have been scheduled to speak, provide a soft-copy (PDF or PowerPoint) of the presentation to the Program Director. Permission to post presentation materials on the chapter website is assumed unless specifically denied in writing. This will only be posted after the meeting.
These materials will remain available on our website for at least a year. This is excellent advertisement for you and your Company.
If and once approved and a date has been set for you, we will need the Speaker bio, topic of discussion, and copy of the PowerPoint no less than 3 months before your scheduled presentation.

AUDIO/VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:

ISSA Speakers are provided an LCD projector and may use their own laptop or one will be provided.
In addition, a speaker system is provided
Other requests for Audio/Visual equipment should go to the Program Director
